CHANCEL CHOIR
This choir is an adult choir that sings for Sunday worship and our annual
Christmas and spring concerts, along with making community appearances.
Rehearsals are from 7:30 pm until 9:00 pm each Wednesday from September through
May. |

YOUTH VOCAL ENSEMBLE

CHORISTERS
Children in grades 1 through 6 sing monthly in worship. They rehearse Sunday mornings at 9:45 am.

JOYFUL NOISE BELLS
This hand bell choir is for folks who wish to learn to read music and to ring the bells...or to just brush-up on rusty skills. Rehearsals are from 6:30 am until 7:30 pm each Thursday.

CHANCEL BELLS
The Chancel Bell Choir rings monthly in worship and also performs in the community. Rehearsals are held every Thursday evening from 7:30 until 9:00 September through May.

We invite you to join us in traditional worship at Sycamore Presbyterian Church at either our 8:45 am or 10:45 am sanctuary services...or for a more "relaxed" worship experience in the chapel at 9:45 am. Parking is plentiful and convenient. Handicapped parking is available. Also, join us in Harper Hall for fellowship along with refreshments following each service.
Our pastors, Dr. Lawrence Kent, Dr. Jerry Pitman and the Rev. Shirley Hutchins, through their sermons encourage and support the strengthening and nurturing of spiritual growth. We also regularly celebrate the Lord's Supper and the Sacrament of Baptism as part of our worship time together.
Music at SPC is an historical and vital part of our church. As a ministry, music contributes to the life of our congregation by helping people praise God and enhance their own faith. We encourage children and adults of all ages to participate in the many opportunities we have at Sycamore, many of which you can find on the right rail of this page. Our music program is led by our Director of Music Ministries, Joe Dilley. Worship is enhanced by a variety of vocal and bell choirs, our Casavant pipe organ, praise bands and guest instrumentalists and vocalists.
Children of all ages are always welcome at all services of worship. Nursery care is available at the 9:45 and 10:45 AM services. Children’s education hour is held during the 10:45 AM service. Our youth program is vibrant and growing.
We follow the Presbyterian heritage of acceptance and embracing all believers. We offer a wide array of Bible studies on Sunday and throughout the week. It has been a long standing tradition to support local and global missionaries and programs. We enthusiastically participate in many hands-on programs. We also sponsor and house a nationally accredited preschool.
We have inherited a tradition of excellence in which we take pride by honoring our past while embracing the future. We currently have over 1000 members and are on a path of planned and steady growth. There is a place for you in our church family. Please join us.
