New to Sycamore Church?

We're thrilled that you've come to our "electronic" home and we invite you to join us soon at our Mason Road home!

Before you do, we're sure you have some questions...while you're welcome and encouraged to spend some time looking through our site, we thought you might like a "quick hit" of things you can expect when you stop by.

So we've put together a few short notes that will help you prepare for your visit.

When?  We worship each Sunday at 8:45 and 10:45 in a tradition service in our sanctuary.  Prefer a little more "relaxed setting?  Grab a cup of coffee and join us for our 9:45 service in the chapel.

Our location:  We are located on the north side of greater Cincinnati at 11800 Mason Road. Directions to the church are right HERE!

Dress:  We want you to be comfortable so wear what makes you feel that way, always mindful that we're about worshiping God.

Presbyterians beliefs:  Grab a cup of coffee, a snack, sit back and...go HERE!

Parking:  Our lot is huge...and we also have parking available in a small lot just across Mason Road to the west of the church with a traffic officer to help you cross.

Worship style:  Worship at Sycamore Church is a joyful experience, with something meaningful for people of all ages. Varieties of musical styles are shared, and always with a commitment to excellence. Visitors appreciate the commitment to ground our worship life in Scripture and the proclaiming of the Gospel. Our pastors embody preaching styles that are inspirational, while remaining attuned to the traditions of the church with a contemporary connectedness and clarity.

Welcome:  You will be greeted at the door by our ushers and other members as you enter the building. They'll be happy to help you find the nursery, your Sunday School classrooms, restrooms, the chapel or sanctuary, etc.

Find your way around:  SPC's facility can be a bit challenging to get around in for our visiting folk.  You can ask anyone you meet for directions...or you can DOWNLOAD a diagram of the church and explore on your own!

Children:  We provide a loving, nurturing environment for infants through 6th grade in which children can feel safe as they develop in their faith.  We conduct background checks on all nursery, toddler, teachers and assistants.  Need more information? THIS is where you can find it

Student Ministry (for 7th through 12th graders):  Student Ministry is the place where friendships are developed with God as the foundation!  Whether it is getting connected with each other and God on Sunday evenings at Youth Group, participating in mission trips such as rebuilding homes in Mississippi, serving meals to homeless in Cincinnati, worshipping together, diving deeper into the Word on Sunday mornings, or attending a small group on Wednesday evenings, our hope is that our students are discovering the truth and grace found in Christ, learning to own their faith so they can impact the world they live in.  For more info, click HERE.

After the Service: Spend some time with the folks of SPC in Harper Hall - the coffee is hot, the doughnuts are fresh and the spirit is alive!  You can browse all of the ministry tables in the connector (that's SPC jargon for the large space with the sofas and chairs next to the sanctuary) and also in Harper Hall but be sure to get more information about the church at the Visitor Center in the narthex.

Joining SPC:  Couldn't be easier!  New member classes are held a number of times during the year.  Contact the church office to learn more!

We hope this page has given you a snapshot of what to expect when you visit us.  But this site contains so much more about the church, its programs and its life.  We hope you'll have a few more minutes to look us over.  If not, we'll look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
