Sycamore Men - Save the Date!
Save the Date for Fishing!
What a great time we had at the Second Annual Sycamore Presbyterian Fishing Derby last year! It’s now time to start planning for the Third Annual SPC Fishing Derby, hosted by the StoneMasons Ministry for Men Leadership Team. Dads and granddads, please schedule on your calendar Saturday, June 16. Plan on bringing your children and grandchildren to Mallard Pond (located at Rick Rogers home). We will be ready to host your visit beginning at 8:00 AM, but you can arrive any time in the morning that best fits your schedule. The longer you fish the more fish you will catch! As the temperatures get warmer the fish will become more active. Already we have caught some nice bass and catfish this Spring. Prepare your gear and practice casting techniques with your children for you will want your child to be the one who catches the largest fish! Like last year, we will serve delicious food and enjoy the thrill of reeling in some hungry fish.
Sign-ups will commence in the Cafe beginning Sunday, May 20. More details will be published in upcoming Blast articles. Please contact Rick Rogers with any questions you may have (513-713-7140 or Richard_L_Rogers@yahoo.com).
R.O.M.E.O. - Wherefore art thou?
No, this is not an article about Shakespeare’s famous play Romeo and Juliet.
R.O.M.E.O. is an acronym for Retired Old Men Eating Out. The StoneMasons Leadership Team will host this fellowship each month for the men of Sycamore. Our plan is to host one lunch per month. The venue changes each month based on the attendees from the previous month. Even if you are not yet retired, we encourage you to join us when your schedule permits. Please Sign up in the Cafe or use the form on the right. If you have any questions please contact Rick Rogers: (Richard_L_Rogers@yahoo.com or 513-713-7140).

- Heaven is hard for us to picture. We think of floating on clouds and playing harps or walking on streets of gold. While we know we want to go there, we are a little nervous about what it will be like. This study provides us with a Biblical perspective on heaven - something richer and more exciting that we could ever imagine.
Men's Landscaping Team (or MLT), Thursdays, 9:00 am - 12 pm; at the Storage Garage
Men's Landscape Team is always looking for new guys to join the church's work group. Enjoy the fellowship as you get to meet a number of other guys and get the satisfaction of doing things to help the church. The MLT does much more than landscaping. We have made good friends and have a lot of laughs along the way! If you are interested in joining the MLT, just show up Thursdays ready to work. You can contact Doug Gausmann: firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
