Solicitation-Sandy Krieghoff, (Co-Chair Needed)  Write and send  letters to both corporate and local  businesses, contact and visit  businesses for gift certificates or product donations,

Uniquely Sycamore-Barb Davis, Shirley Matre: Collect hand-crafted artistic items, ie, quilts, afghans, wood items, photographs, paintings created by Sycamore craftspeople

Silent Auction Theme Baskets-Karen Kerns, Melanie Rathman: Inspire and collect baskets created and donated by the Sycamore family.  Prepare the baskets for auction including arranging and shrink wrapping the baskets.  Assist with the Basket Raffle on Lawn Fete Day. 

Financial Organization-Susie Shaw Computerized registration of all Silent Auction items, bid sheet organization and detailed information for baskets and Certificate City. Supervision of all operations regarding payment of items after each bid closing.  Manage the donor database.

Taste of Sycamore-Beth Hueil: Recruit volunteers to provide cooking talents for a variety of venues.  Coordinate the cooks and winners of each cooking venue.

Day of Lawn Fete: Volunteers can assist by checking on displays and bid sheets; answer questions about items, help at bid times; and have fun!

 

BOOKBAY AND OTHER MEDIA:  Committee Chair: Beth Murphy, Lenore Henninger

Sort and box donated books, CDs, and DVDs; Thursday, Friday, before Lawn Fete unpack items, categorize and price items, Day of help sell books, cashier, pack up leftover items

 

CHICKEN DINNER  PREP  Committee Co-Chairs:  Melissa Wharton, Leslie Moeller

Preparation of salads,  serve meal, clean-up kitchen 

 

DINING ROOM HOSPITALITY & DECORATION Committee Co-Chairs: Carol Burnett, Linda Hill, (Co-Chair Needed), (Co-Chair Needed)

Determine theme for decorations for Harper Hall, purchase table and room decorations, put up decorations, wrap silverware, set tables and decorate, provide balloons for all outside booths  Day of Lawn Fete serve food, bus tables, serve beverages, host tables, clean-up.

 

GRILLING OF CHICKENS  Committee Co-Chairs:  Andy Hackman, (Co-Chair Needed)

Assemble block grill, start and tend charcoal fire, cook chickens, disassemble blocks

 

ENTERTAINMENT  Committee Co-Chairs:  Craig Nagel

Recruit  family entertainment, such as, magicians, pocket ladies, barbershop quartets, piano players, and work with youth group performers

 

GAMES  Committee Co-Chairs:  Brad Leffler, Student Ministries, Dianna and Carlos Jimenez Energetic people to select games and prizes for the BIG day,  assemble game booths and tents.  Smiling faces to staff the games and rides as well as sell game/ride tickets.

 

GROUNDS  Committee Co-Chairs:   Bob Johnson, Bob Fielman

Set-up and tear down of booths, tents, tables, chairs, electrical, trash pick-up, security, sound system, parking

 

KID’S KORNER Committee Co-Chairs: Connie McCowan, (Co-Chair Needed)

Sort, price and box donated items on Mondays at the Manse beginning at 5:30PM; Thursday, Friday, Saturday Week of Lawn Fete unpack and arrange items in tent: Day of Lawn Fete cashier, help with sale of items,  pack up left over items in boxes.

 

MARKETING/PUBLICITY  Committee Co-Chairs:  Samantha Barrick, Jenny Parrish., Carl Alexoff, Jane Nocito(Co-Chair Needed)  Develop programs for participation of all age groups , develop articles for media,  brochures, newsletters, bulletin, develop outdoor signage, on-line communications.

 

SNACK BOOTH  Committee Co-Chairs:  Amy and Ric McPike

Donate food items, grill brats and hot dogs, assemble and serve food, cashier, set up and tear down, clean up

 

ANGELIC TREATS Committee Co-Chairs:  Brian and Missy Iannelli

Donate baked goods etc.; help price and set-up  the day of Lawn Fete
